Our Wanderings at Field Station Dinosaur Park, Derby, Kansas

Now that I graduated from wheelchair to walker we are able to go places, this time we will wander among the dinosaurs in Derby, Kansas.

Field Station Dinosaur Park is located in Derby, Kansas.  It sits on 14 acres and contains 44 life-sized animatronic or mechatronic dinosaurs.  Inside the park the family can enjoy scavenger hunt, fossil digs, paleontologist laboratory and other science activities.  There is an amphitheater where dinosaur-themed shows are performed by the friendly and outgoing staff.  The park also has a mini golf course and climb ropes course.  Due to the pandemic, the paleontologist laboratory and the climb ropes course are both closed.
